My name is Bertil Stam, I graduated as an “industrial designer” in 2002. When you see my designs, I hope that you can see my passion and enthusiasm. Creating a good chair is not just related to comfort, material and look. To make any design truly good, it has to fit the buyer, the user, YOU. It should last a lifetime, and be an item that you are proud to leave for your children. It also has to be production-friendly and have the right price, bringing value for money. Making good design is not easy, if it was, everyone would do it.
