We are Glismand & Rüdiger, the men behind the Danish design company byKATO. In short, we are dedicated to creating contemporary, highly usable designs for everyday living. We aim to bridge the gap between commercial design and high-quality craftsmanship, by using honest materials and paying close attention to even the tiniest detail. When we designed the iconic Scandinavia Sofa, we focused on originality and authenticity – we wanted to create a timeless design with character and a history.
